Basketball Recap: Providence Comes Up Short

After flying high against Poly on Tuesday, Providence came back down to earth. The Pioneers came up short against the Bishop Alemany Warriors on Thursday, falling 63-41. The contest marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Providence now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bishop Alemany, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Providence will head out on the road to square off against Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Pioneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Bishop Alemany, they will welcome Granada Hills Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
