Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Stephenson's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Stephenson lost to North Clayton back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Jaguars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

Stephenson easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10.

Stephenson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for North Clayton, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Stephenson will challenge rival Riverdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Clayton is set to square off against their familiar foe Cedar Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
