Soccer Game Preview: Pace Academy vs. Northside

The Pace Academy Knights will challenge the Northside Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pace Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.

Pace Academy had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Lovett put an end to it on Monday. The Knights came up short against the Lions, falling 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for Pace Academy in their meetings with Lovett: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Northside came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Northside were the better team in the second half.

Pace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Northside, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
