Volleyball Recap: East Takes a Loss

After flying high against Harriton on Monday, East came back down to earth. The Vikings fell just short of the Penncrest Lions by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East took Penncrest into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 18-25, 17-25, 25-13, 15-13.

East's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, East and Penncrest will both be playing Ridley the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will host them at 6:00 p.m. on September 3.
