Volleyball Recap: Midland Christian Comes Up Short

Midland Christian lost against Southwest Christian School back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Eagles. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midland Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-14, 25-12, 25-16.

Midland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Southwest Christian School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Midland Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Coram Deo Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southwest Christian School will square off against rival Fort Worth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
