Basketball Game Preview: St. John's Jesuit Titans vs. University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs

St. John's Jesuit is 0-3 against University of Detroit Jesuit since December of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Titans will head out to take on the Cubs at 7:00 p.m. St. John's Jesuit is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

St. John's Jesuit had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt St. Francis de Sales on Friday. The Titans blew past the Knights 61-37. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, University of Detroit Jesuit didn't have quite enough to beat Holt on Saturday and fell 59-56.

St. John's Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for University of Detroit Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

St. John's Jesuit came up short against University of Detroit Jesuit when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 69-64. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
