Baseball Preview: East Columbus Gators vs. Heide Trask Titans

For the second straight game, East Columbus will face off against Heide Trask. The Gators will head out on the road to face off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Columbus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

East Columbus not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 15th. They put the hurt on Heide Trask with a sharp 14-4 win. The Gators have beaten the Titans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Titans has come to flipping the script.

Gauge Simmons made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
