After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shoreham-Wading River, Walt Whitman was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Patchogue-Medford Raiders as they made off with a 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Walt Whitman's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Patchogue-Medford, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Walt Whitman will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
