Basketball Recap: Rampart Rams vs. Liberty Lancers
Rampart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 40-21 to the Liberty Lancers. Liberty's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Wilson, who earned seven points and 12 steals. Liberty is undefeated when Wilson posts five or more steals, but 5-10 otherwise. Samira Gantt was another key player, putting up 18 points and three steals.
Rampart's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Liberty, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.
