Football Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short on the Road Against St. Margaret's

Arlington had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 38-6 loss at the hands of the St. Margaret's Tartans. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Kai Letcher was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Arlington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-13 loss against Ramona on the 29th. As for St. Margaret's, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 914 yards in their previous games.
