Chariho faced Bishop Hendricken in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Chargers blew past the Hawks 3-0. The matchup marked the Chargers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

While Chariho won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-22.

Chariho found their leader in sophomore Kasey Poplaski, who had 31 assists and two aces. Poplaski is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 24 every time he's taken the court this season.

Chariho's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. As for Bishop Hendricken, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Chariho didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against North Smithfield on the 29th. As for Bishop Hendricken, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Classical on the 29th.
