Everything went their way against the Sacopee Valley Hawks on Wednesday as the Lake Region Lakers made off with an 8-1 win. Caleb Coombs was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.
Lake Region's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9-1. As for Sacopee Valley, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Region will venture away from home to take on Leavitt at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sacopee Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Waynflete at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
