Basketball Game Preview: Big Foot Chiefs vs. Whitewater Whippets

Big Foot and Whitewater are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Big Foot Chiefs will venture away from home to face off against the Whitewater Whippets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitewater took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Big Foot, who comes in off a win.

Big Foot is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Delavan-Darien 69-67. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a blow against Brodhead, falling 100-68.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Big Foot, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.

Everything came up roses for Big Foot against Whitewater in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 72-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Big Foot since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
