Volleyball Recap: Muscle Shoals Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Muscle Shoals managed to slip by Athens the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans came up short against the Golden Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Muscle Shoals took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-23.

Makenzie Sears paced Muscle Shoals' offense, picking up 12 kills. Sears got some help from Olivia Chapman and her 23 assists.

Muscle Shoals now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Athens, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-17.

Muscle Shoals wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Brooks on the 9th. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
