Softball Recap: St. Martin de Porres Lions vs. Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix
After flying high against Villa Angela-St. Joseph last Friday, St. Martin de Porres came back down to earth. The St. Martin de Porres Lions fell just short of the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix by a score of 10-9 on Monday. St. Martin de Porres has struggled against Andrews Osborne Academy recently, as their game on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Mileydi Rodriguez was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayce Burson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
