Ellinwood put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Nickerson Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ellinwood was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14.

Ellinwood was led to victory by Bennett Jacobs and Reagan Wirtz. Jacobs had nine digs and one assist, while Wirtz had six digs.

Ellinwood's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Nickerson, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Ellinwood has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Central Plains on the 13th. As for Nickerson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Smoky Valley on the 16th.
