Football Recap: William Campbell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

William Campbell extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-10. They were dealt a 63-0 defeat at the hands of the Altavista Colonels. The Generals were not able to make up for their loss to the Colonels from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for Altavista, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The result was nothing new for the Colonels, who have now won four contests by 50 points or more so far this season.

Altavista got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Brooks out in front who rushed for 51 yards and one score on only six carries, and also threw for 55 yards and one touchdown. Those 51 rushing yards gave Brooks a new career-high.

William Campbell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Altavista, they will head out to take on Gretna at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
