Volleyball Recap: Mission Viejo Takes a Loss

Mission Viejo's tournament run continued when they took on Capistrano Valley Christian on Saturday. The Mission Viejo Diablos fell just short of the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Mission Viejo's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Mission Viejo will welcome Crean Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Long Beach Poly on the 15th.
