Baseball Recap: Patterson Takes a Loss

Patterson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-0 to the Holy Cross Tigers.

Patterson's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Holy Cross, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Coming up, Patterson will welcome John Curtis Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Patterson has given up an average of 11.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Holy Cross, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Holy Cross: 0.8, Belle Chasse: 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
