Windermere's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Boone Braves. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won four in a row.

Justin Margelos tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dublin Warren, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. Another player making a difference was Diego Rodriguez, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Windermere's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Boone, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windermere will challenge The First Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Royals will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boone, they will face off against Colonial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
