Softball Recap: Triton Trojans vs. Caston Comets
Triton extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-19 in the process. They came up short against the Caston Comets, falling 12-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Triton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Doll, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
As for Caston, their win bumped their record up to 5-13. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
On Caston's side, Natalie Warner was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Warner has posted since back in April. Kylee Logan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
