Lockport has gone 7-2 against Stagg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Porters are taking a road trip to face off against the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Lockport who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. The Porters got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Lincoln-Way West's four. The win continues a trend for Lockport in their matchups with Lincoln-Way West: they've now won five in a row.

Stagg will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Sandburg, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Chargers who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. Stagg got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Sandburg's three.

The win got Stagg back to even at 7-7-2. As for Lockport, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Lockport took their win against Stagg in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Porters since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
