Volleyball Game Preview: Wesson Cobras vs. Wilkinson County Wildcats

After both having extra time off, the Wesson Cobras and the Wilkinson County Wildcats will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wesson is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since August 26th on Tuesday. They came up short against Loyd Star, falling 3-0. The Cobras haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Wilkinson County lost 3-0 to Amite County on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-5, 25-7.

Wilkinson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wesson, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Wesson took their victory against Wilkinson County when the teams last played on September 4th by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cobras have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
