Volleyball Game Preview: Cary-Grove Trojans vs. Dundee-Crown Chargers + Official Tickets

The Cary-Grove Trojans will face off against the Dundee-Crown Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cary-Grove is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since October 12, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Addison Trail 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Lucy Wittenberg was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 digs and eight aces. Those 18 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Morgan Evelo, who had 19 assists and six digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Cary-Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Dundee-Crown earned a 2-0 win over Mundelein on Saturday.

Dundee-Crown never let Mundelein on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23.

Cary-Grove's victory bumped their record up to 8-23. As for Dundee-Crown, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.
