It was a good run, but Imlay City unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They received a blow as they fell 60-43 to the International Academy Phoenix. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phoenix apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Imlay City's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for International Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Imlay City will face off against Croswell-Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for International Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Genesee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
