Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Sunrise Mountain had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Willow Canyon Wildcats by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory didn't come easy: Willow Canyon scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Sunrise Mountain's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Conlan Hopkins, who had 11 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Hopkins has posted over his last two matchups.

Sunrise Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Willow Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.
