Volleyball Recap: Clear Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Union Colony Prep last Wednesday, Clear Creek came back down to earth. The Golddiggers came up short against the Flatirons Academy Bison on Monday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golddiggers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-22.

Clear Creek dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Flatirons Academy, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Clear Creek is set to challenge their familiar foe Gilpin County at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th. Meanwhile, Flatirons Academy will square off against rival Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
