Baseball Preview: East Aurora Blue Devils vs. Alden Bulldogs

Two weeks ago, it was a hard-fought match, but East Aurora had to settle for a 6-5 defeat against Pioneer.

Meanwhile, Alden was able to grind out a solid victory over Holland on Monday, taking the game 8-4.

David Earsing made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Earsing was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

East Aurora's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Alden, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
