Basketball Recap: Lakeside Eagles vs. Bonners Ferry Badgers
After flying high against East Valley last Saturday, Lakeside came back down to earth. The Lakeside Eagles fell to the Bonners Ferry Badgers 57-51. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Badgers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.
Taren Bateman was her usual excellent self, going 10 of 22 on her way to 31 points in addition to seven boards and five assists for Bonners Ferry. Bateman's afternoon made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Hinthorn, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 10 points in addition to six boards and five steals.
