Rolling Meadows got their first taste of in-conference action on Monday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Elk Grove Grenadiers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Rolling Meadows easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19.

Nikodem Opiola paced Rolling Meadows' offense, picking up seven kills. Opiola got some help from Logan Quadros and his 20 assists. Opiola also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Martin Ishak, racking up two apiece.

Rolling Meadows picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Elk Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.

Rolling Meadows wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Wheeling on the 16th. As for Elk Grove, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Buffalo Grove on the 16th.
