Volleyball Recap: Union Grove Gets the Win

Union Grove won the last time they faced Madison East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Broncos walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Purgolders.

Union Grove found their leader in sophomore Asher Gonzales, who had nine assists and six digs.

Union Grove's win bumped their record up to 13-20. As for Madison East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Union Grove will face off against Wilmot at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison East, they will head out to challenge Fort Atkinson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
