Basketball Recap: Deckerville Eagles vs. Peck Pirates
Deckerville fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Peck on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Peck Pirates. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (59), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Deckerville's loss came despite strong showings from Logan Martin and Ian Flanigan. Martin on his way to 26 points, while Flanigan to rack up 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Martin's big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Garza, who en route to 12 points.
