Baseball Game Preview: Saugus Centurions vs. Golden Valley Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Saugus will face off against Golden Valley. The Centurions will be playing at home against the Grizzlies at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Saugus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Saugus' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Golden Valley. The Centurions haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Kaleb Haag, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Golden Valley off the board. Those six strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Haag.

At the plate, Abraham Ramirez was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Saugus' win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Golden Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
