Woodcrest Christian came into Tuesday's matchup having lost 12 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Arrowhead Christian Eagles on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Royals have posted since March 7th.

Woodcrest Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zara Gallardo, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

Woodcrest Christian's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 7-13. As for Arrowhead Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.
