Football Recap: Merino Skates Past Rocky Ford with Ease

Merino got themselves on the board against Rocky Ford on Friday, but Rocky Ford never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Meloneers 51-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Rams just coasted through the last quarter.

Merino now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rocky Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Merino and Rocky Ford will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rams are set to square off against their familiar foe Haxtun at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rocky Ford will take on rival McClave at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
