Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wyoming East). They breezed by the Mount View Golden Knights to the tune of 79-35 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Despite the defeat, Mount View saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ky'Rece Hughes posted seven points and six boards. Hughes also put up a block, which washis first of the season.

Wyoming East's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Mount View, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Wyoming East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-36 victory against Mingo Central on the 25th. Mount View has also already played their next contest, a 69-40 defeat against Summit Christian Academy on the 27th.
