Basketball Game Preview: Uintah Utes vs. Providence Hall Patriots

The Uintah Utes just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Providence Hall Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Uintah will be strutting in after a victory while Providence Hall will be coming in after a loss.

Uintah took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 69-59 win over Mountain View.

It was another big night for Dauson Gardiner, who went 10 for 17 on his way to 27 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jd Pickup, who posted seven points along with 11 rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, Providence Hall came up short against Wayne on Friday and fell 51-41.

Uintah's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Providence Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
