Volleyball Recap: Grayson County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Galax last Wednesday, Grayson County came back down to earth. The Blue Devils fell 3-1 to the Auburn Eagles on Tuesday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Grayson County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 28-26, 25-23, 26-24.

Grayson County's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Auburn, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Grayson County has already played their next contest (against Bland County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Auburn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Giles on the 2nd.
