After a string of four wins, Jennings's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Iota by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Jennings has suffered since February 28th.

Jennings saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Mason Futch, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Jennings' loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Iota, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jennings will host Mamou at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Jennings is facing Mamou at the right time seeing as Mamou is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Iota, they will face off against Port Barre at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
