Baseball Recap: Rogue River Takes a Loss

Rogue River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 18-1 to the Sutherlin Bulldogs. The match marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rogue River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Sutherlin, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Rogue River and Sutherlin will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Chieftains will challenge rival Brookings-Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sutherlin is set to square off against their familiar foe Glide at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
