The Jefferson Democrats are taking a road trip to challenge the Santee Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Santee better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Jefferson's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Jefferson really gets things going. The Democrats put the hurt on Manual Arts with a sharp 3-0 win. The game was the first time Jefferson have beaten Manual Arts on their pitch since January 24, 2022.

Jefferson hit Manual Arts with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dany Gomez, Jose Carlos Lua, and Mel Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Santee's offense. They fell just short of Dr. Maya Angelou Community by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The loss put an end to Santee's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Santee fell to 3-1. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Jefferson came up short against Santee in their previous matchup back in January, falling 2-0. Can the Democrats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
