Flag Football Game Preview: Redondo Union Sea Hawks vs. Hart Hawks

The Redondo Union Sea Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Hart Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Redondo Union hasn't scored more than 13 points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

If Redondo Union beats Hart with 13 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Sea Hawks managed a 13-7 victory over Palos Verdes on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Sea Hawks in their matchups with the Sea Kings: they've now won seven in a row.

A big part of Redondo Union's victory came down to the chemistry between Blair Nolen and her top target Abby Luis. Nolen threw for 166 yards and one TD while completing 80% of her passes while Luis picked up 60 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Redondo Union didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Alexa Farmer and Kayla Armstrong.

Meanwhile, Hart came up short against Marshall on Saturday, falling 27-7.

Hart's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Redondo Union, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
