Football Recap: Macon-East Montgomery Academy Piles Up the Points Against North River Christian

Macon-East Montgomery Academy won the last time they faced North River Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights blew past the Chargers 82-0. Fans of the Knights have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Brandon Fitch led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself. Cole Streetman got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win was the third in a row for Macon-East Montgomery Academy, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average this season. As for North River Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
