Basketball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy Skates Past Fellowship Christian Academy with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coastal Brigade, Jacksonville Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fellowship Christian Academy 62-20. The Conquerors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jacksonville Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Jeremiah Brown, who shot 67% from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Pittman, who went 7-for-17 on his way to 16 points and four steals.

Jacksonville Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Fellowship Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

As for Fellowship Christian Academy, they will face off against Ahoskie Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
