Volleyball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Cheyenne Dunavant and Kaitlynn Crull

Tipton-Rosemark Academy lost against Jackson Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 21-25, 24-18.

Kaitlynn Crull and Cheyenne Dunavant certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Crull had 12 digs and two assists, while Dunavant had ten digs and four assists. Crull is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jackson Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Tipton-Rosemark Academy will be playing at home against Fayette Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jackson Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Harding Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
