South Central barely beat Jacksonville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Cardinals 12-2 on Thursday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Somer Davenport made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Davenport was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

As for Jacksonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
South Central will head out to take on North Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Jacksonville, they will welcome New Bern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
