Baseball Recap: Latin Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Latin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Northridge Knights 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Romans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jackson Darke was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

Latin's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
