Philip Barbour extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Wheeling Central Catholic. They came out on top against the Maroon Knights by a score of 3-1. The win was familiar territory for the Colts, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Izzy Knotts paced Philip Barbour's offense, picking up 26 kills. Knotts were helped by Gracie Wolfe and Finley Carpenter, who contributed 24 assists each. Finally, Knotts was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Philip Barbour's victory bumped their record up to 44-11-2. As for Wheeling Central Catholic, they moved to 18-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
