Southeast made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Northeast, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Southeast blew past Northeast 10-4 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

Carter Buzard and Colten Jameson were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Buzard struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Jameson pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Buzard scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances, while Jameson scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tyler Warner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Gannon Hobbs was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Pleasanton lost 17-7 to Crest on Thursday. The Blu-Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pleasanton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryker Carpenter, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Southeast now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pleasanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
