Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield lost against Clay City back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bloomfield Cardinals took a 68-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clay City Eels.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Clay City, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Bloomfield and Clay City should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Bloomfield (ranked 100th) will meet Eastern Greene (ranked 326th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Clay City will face off against Cloverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday up 212 places (75 vs. 287).
